This is my favorite way to get students to memorize the essay writing "formula" they need to replicate in ELA classes throughout high school and on state tests!
 
I have my students memorize the acronym at the end to remember all parts of the formula and I tell them to always write down the acronym first before they begin writing to ensure they have success with their organization. 
 
You can use this as notes, print out the pdf version for students to have on-hand during independent writing time, or however else you would like :)
